Bertolini Sistemas de Armazenagem recently completed the expansion of Perte Alimentos' Distribution Center (DC) with the installation of a new Static Drive-In. The system will increase storage capacity and maximize the company's refrigerated and frozen food distribution business, currently a benchmark in its segment.
The Perte Alimentos complex, headquartered in Cachoeirinha, Rio Grande do Sul, currently covers 13,200 m² and features five refrigerated chambers and two antechambers for receiving goods, picking, and shipping orders. With the installation of Bertolini's Static Drive-in system, the total storage capacity increases to 8,800 positions, approximately 10.5 tons. The installed system has seven levels, reaching a height of 12.7 meters.
The gains from the new storage system will be fundamental for the expansion of the company, which currently distributes a mix of around 400 products, including frozen and chilled products, with direct imports from more than 15 countries and the domestic market, and 3,800 customers per month.
Bertolini's Commercial Supervisor, Israel Schimitz dos Santos, notes that the expansion of Perte Alimentos' storage system is aligned with Bertolini's market strategy regarding product and market segment. "This partnership solidifies Bertolini's Drive-in as a benchmark in the national market," he emphasizes.
