Our Code of Ethics & Conduct defines responsibilities and the conduct expected of our employees and partners.

The Bertolini Group’s Code of Ethics & Conduct aims to communicate the strategic drivers (mission, vision, purpose and values) and essential competencies in order to guide its daily activities and routines, in order to prevent, monitor and combat corruption risks and inappropriate conduct. This Code should be a reference in all interpersonal and institutional relationships so that one can act ethically and transparently, in order to strengthen the Bertolini Group’s image and reputation. Procedures may be adopted to assess the compliance of suppliers, service providers and other business partners. Our Code of Ethics & Conduct defines responsibilities and the conduct expected of our employees and partners, with the aim of monitoring their commitment to our values and commitments to compliance and integrity. Our Code of Ethics & Conduct defines responsibilities and the conduct expected of members of the Bertolini Group and our partners in various situations, basing their actions on integrity, responsibility and ethics, aligned with our values. We do what is right, legal and ethical, even if it is not written. We have divided the items in this document into “Expected Standard” and “Expected Conduct” and then presented a practical example of the situation. Understand what we mean by these guidelines:

Expected standard

It symbolizes the minimum and acceptable rules to be followed to achieve the objective proposed by the organization, whether they refer to the legislation in force in Brazil and in other countries where we operate, as well as internal regulations and policies, based on the principles and values of the Bertolini Group.

Expected conduct

Conduct can be defined as the way a person or group expresses themselves in a situation, especially when it affects social coexistence and impacts the interests of third parties. Expected conduct refers to how to act based on the principles of ethics and integrity. Doing the right thing because it is the right thing to do.
